I got an used airfryer from my mate who didn’t have any use for it. It’s pretty good and useful. But it beeps at around like fucking 150dB. And it beeps constantly. Give it electricity? BEEP. Start adjusting the heat? BEEP AT EVERY TOUCH. Adjust the time? BEEP AT EVERY TOUCH. It’s ready? BEEPS 60 TIMES!
Now that’s plenty of breads!
I’m feeling better today, did the weekly shopping (and had to go back to pick up few missing items.) It’s Midsommar, so I have been cleaningthe house a bit and washing few loads of laundry, tomorrow we’ll heat up the grill and enjoy some (alc-free) beers. I’m preparing stuff for that too, marinades and so on. It’s nice. Lots of mosquitoes tho.
I should get back to my baking routine, breads and breadrolls, but the summer is starting to become more warm so I prefer to not heat up the oven… Or that’s at least what I use for an excuse. I got a sourdough, a bit over 3 years old, living in my fridge. He has a name.
Not feeling very fresh, I quit a certain medication and it will take months to get back to “normal” so yeah, I have been pretty miserable today. And past few days. Just a bunch of weird symptoms, but all are expected and listed. No way to ease, just trying to sleep lots, eat well and do some excercising. Still, pretty miserable. Thank god I’m unemployed during this…

No Yelps here, just the public dentist at my local health center, and the only one at that. I can’t afford to go private yay. (Not free, definitely not free this one either.)
Last time I went to dentist, at first everything was okay and I even got compliments on how clean my mouth was. Then I got stabbed by a needle to a gum and then yelled at for not flossing. Later on the dentist found the stabbing wound she did and apologised, yet kept on telling me to just go deeper with the floss, that there must be a hidden infection deeper down and I should not care about pain or floss cuts. Bad, bad advice.
I didn’t change shit. My gums don’t bleed UNLESS THEY GET STABBED.

I don’t see EVs ever becoming good for everywhere. Here it usually gets as low as -20 to -45 degrees in Celcius during winter so you’d need a heated garage at your home and another at your workplace to have an EV work well, or hell, even start. With an older car, you can just take the battery indoors for the night and pop it back in the morning and be on your way. And having a heated garage (and the cost of building EV’s battery, building the car, shipping it) is already worse for the environment, so no, it will never work here.
Just developt the gas (gas as in gas, not benzin or diesel) and use them here, EV’s where it’s warmer all year around.
And no, fuck them Chinese spyware cars. And other spyware cars. Put the cameras up your ass.

Yes, I got people. But we all agree that we get the time we get and dying with your boots on is a whole lotta better than suffering slowly for years.
Trust me, the level of elder care in my country, that’s the least of my worries. I also don’t want to burn into a crisp inside an electric car that won’t open it’s doors once it sets on fire.
I’ll deal and keep fixing my 2001 lil Japanese car until it really gives up. I might even get a whole “new” motor in. If after all that it’s imposible to buy another old, pre-2000 car, I won’t bother. Fuck them. The lights are too bright and unsafe, the screens are unsafe and now these cameras and all? Ew. If you can’t fix it yourself in your garage with basic tools and some beer, you don’t own the thing.
I love dogs, even had one growing up. But my neighbor has these Lapphunds (he got them for his kid but the kid moved away yeeaars ago and left the dogs with the dad) and he can’t handle them. No training, leaves them in the summer heat, don’t take them for walks, keeps them loose so they yap and even try to bite people walking by. Not joking, I have almost gotten bitten once and they attacked my late-dog multiple times as well as my friends coming to my house. And those dogs yap constantly, all the time they’re outside which is most of the day. Just this constant whining, screaming, howling, yapping and barking. He has told me that he can’t get them to behave. Yeah, I’m aware. But they’re getting old now so maybe max 3 years and it will be quiet here again…
