It’s because they’re in so much debt they need to run forward to outrun it by… Getting into even more debt on the basis that this time it will payoff


Given that it’s been literally the best selling console in history so far, I’m not so sure they needed a killer app, which they already have in both DK Bananza and Pokopia.
This. People are quick to forget it’s a tool. I know it’s causing problems in the market with a lot less positions for juniors, but I strongly believe it’s temporary. Management will learn it’s not a magic wand(the hard way if needed), and things will get back to normal.


Pokopia isn’t first party. It’s made by Bamco, same team as Dragon Quest Builders. All of Pokémon games are second party at best.
I said this before but, man, I feel like this could be an actual proper use case for NFTs.
