My defence: I thought there is a slight difference: Ignorant -> willingfully ignoring vs. Not knowing better -> you do the best with what you know, which might not be right. Like me when I posted. What’s wrong is blaming people for not knowing.

Uneducated people do what uneducated people do. Ignorant != Not knowing better.
