Between February and now that is true, but the last few months have seen small net gains by Ukraine. Whether that trend holds out is up in the air, but they have been doing a number on Russian logistics. Crimea in particular is struggling mightily with fuel shortages.
Then contribute to it. Bring receipts and evidence. Those are the table stakes. Without that, you’ll get laughed out like the clown you are. You don’t bring hearsay and prejudice to an evidence fight.

I’ve pretty much eliminated beef, because it’s by far the worst climate offender. Pork and chicken are cheaper and lower impact by every measure as far as I know. A burger every few months, maybe.

Would we put up with Russia declaring something similar? I don’t see how imposing a zone like that de-escalates the situation.

A “school bus” can be a local mini that’s like 8-10?m long, or a medium like 15-metre one. A “school bus” (as it would be near me) can also be an articulated main route bus that has three high schools and a major university on both ends of the corridor, at like 30 metres long.
Ditto pizzas. A “large” is such an arbitrary measurement.
as for “seeing” the proportions… if you gave me that picture and told me it was shrimp-sized (also a bit ambiguous), I couldn’t question it. At best, the “pizza” and “bus” provide order of magnitude estimates.

Defense in depth is a thing. You don’t give up just because someone made it through the first layer.
That is infuriating. Leaving those keys available to the user means that worms can later use you to compromise additional machines. It turns a local problem into a much bigger one. There’s a recursive script out there that automatically scans your ssh files and attempts to access all hosts in your history…name escapes me at the moment.
Those comments really do get tedious. But there’s no billion-dollar company pushing desktop Linux and buying podcast ads and whatnot, so … there’s really no other way to get the word out.
Yeah, that’s a relatively easy issue to debug. It goes to show that it’s really about where your familiarity level is.
