It should be illegal to buy a company on loan and transfer that debt to the company. You should be required to get your money back via dividends or by building the company up and reselling it.

It obviously means the greatest of all time so far because at the time you make the statement you cannot judge what hasn’t happened yet.

It gets more complicated when you’re saying it about a company or game in the past but I still think that it has meaning. It could mean that at the time, they were the greatest of all time (up until that point in time) but it could also mean that at this point in time that past version of EA was the greatest of all time (up until now, which is beyond the time that that version of EA existed).

We have several governments saying that being able to read some people’s encrypted messages would catch some criminals, therefore we need to be able to read everyone’s encrypted messages.

I do agree with you in that it’s much better for the price to be the price and for tips to be entirely up to the customer.

That’s how it is in most UK restaurants in my experience but tips being added on already is creeping in. It used to be for large groups, then smaller groups and now a few places do it for everyone. Very annoying.

You’d be being an asshole if you were just doing it on principle but I have received bad service and asked for the tip to be removed. I didn’t feel like I was being a dick.

Doing this is different to increasing the price.

Firstly, from a PR point of view, it tells people that the extra money is going to the staff and not the restaurant.

More importantly, in the UK, we are legally able to object to a service charge placed on the bill and they have to remove it.
