Ubuntu was a critical part of the Linux ecosystem for many years. It is probably the first distro of many of us (myself included).

But last ~10 years have not been kind to Canonical. They are losing ground everywhere, and they are no longer the engine of Linux adoption that they used to be. Others have taken over.

Microsoft is treating these losers the way they are asking to be treated.

All my devices are on the same wirguard network. It allows me to use SFTP to mount the fileservers of the others very easily. Then copying files is as simple as copying from one folder to another.

I usually rip from illegal Turkish streaming sites, so torrenting is unnecessary and harder. yt-dlp and videodownloader is usually enough.

The only subscription I have is Mullvad.

I was thinking more about the 1 PB upload. Most ISPs here would complain about that.

Both february and march were outliers. Their average is consistent with the overall trend. Probably Valve messed something up.

Probably tanh or logistical fit is better, and we’re in the early exponential phase of it.

Who is your ISP? How are they ok with this?

They are probably using a formula to count, and forgot to round off.

I do not think there will be a year of the Linux Desktop. Linux usage will slowly climb up over time. At some point people will realize that Linux is the dominant desktop system. But it won’t be a discrete point in time.
