Arch for many many years. Then Bazzite for round about 8 months. Now CachyOS for 9 months. Super happy with it. Additionally, I am running Debian on my Thinkpad and server.

VLC is great and I had been using it for years. However, MPV is simple, yet powerful and is naturally part of my Linux distribution due to being a dependency of other stuff I use. That said, MPV has been my go-to mediaplayer for years now.

Same. Been using systemd-boot for years now. 0 issues. With Grub I had my fair share of trouble. Nothing too critical, but just another thing to worry about.

So since it is basically just a pre-themed Debian installation, it would not only be a gimmicky Linux distribution but a viable daily driver as well.
