13·3 days agoYour GPU is both abandoned by proprietary drivers and doesn’t have a GSP so it can’t be properly supported by the kernel drivers either (at least not until someone somehow figures out how to reclock them, which hasn’t happened in the last ten years). In other words, your cries are appropriate.

I have never in my life touched Ansible and daily drive NixOS on servers and desktop. +1 to skipping Ansible

Yes but that line will never receive feature updates again, only kernel compatibility and security fixes. That also means there is no chance for any VRAM usage improvements on a driver level anymore.
