I often add the word “forum” to my searches to help get some actual human discussion instead of ad farming AI slop articles. Seems like the only way to figure things out these days.


I’m leaving any platform that tries this without a second thought. Already left discord. Left reddit and joined here with the account requirement (even though I have an account, just hate the principle).


Not as bad as you’d think, better than typical phone repair at least (not that I have a ton of experience with that).


It’s been a while but if I remember correctly you have to unsnap the grill that’s wrapped most of the way around the speaker using a spudger, and then the rest is pretty easy and I think mostly screws.


Same with my flip 3 or 4, I replaced the battery but it’s been good!
