I just want one where the storage the vac empties out into is on the side so it can slide under a couch.
These things take so much damn space and for some reason they didn’t figure out there is a bunch of real estate underneath shit.

Right?! This stuff could be so powerful and useful, but instead everything needs to connect to some fucking cloud. If we had any data sovereignty, we could have all the cool stuff. Local processing with local data. No uploading.

Like making us batteries or slaves. Yea… Can’t have an ai save us from ourselves

Hell, that would motivate me to design a whole new plastic cover for the a pillar and remove the cameras entirely.

I’d have called an employment lawyer. That can easily be discrimination for some medical conditions like crohns or IBS.

I second this. It’s health and safety related. You don’t want to have it break at the exact moment it’s needed.
Life alert or something similar is the solution.

Like demonoid?

It gets more accurate with more access points, too. So corporate and education settings will be the easy places for this to get implemented.

Last I looked, jellyfin auth and public facing security were less than ideal.
How far has that come in the last few years? I have plenty of people using my Plex and it’s been secure. I had heard a public facing Jellyfin wasn’t super secure.
Honestly, 95% of the reason I use Plex is so I don’t have to manage user passwords and troubleshoot issues for my friends and family. I just grant access.

In the US, a portion of that fine goes back to the police departments. Giving them a financial incentive to give tickets.
If the fines went to anything except the people giving the fines, then it could work here. But we were so stupid to couple the two in the first place.

I’ve had my gfs accord emergency brake on me twice. One was coming to a hairpin turn on a mountain and an rv had pulled off onto a turn out for us to pass. And another was several car lengths away from a car making a turn into a drive way. Neither of which were even remotely close to an accident. It just freaked out.
And I’ve had tons of beeps for side streets with cars park along a gentle curve which the car doesn’t understand the fucking road turns. I HATE all the tech.

Benefit of pots is it doesn’t go out when the Internet does (unless your provider has a VOIP backend, but usually those would be more robust than your home.)
It also is a second source of electricity coming into the house should there be a power outage.
I kind of wish I could have an old school pots line, even though I run my own VOIP system.

They are hard to put out, but if you want them to burn all you really need is a safe place to do it. So in a big crucible with some type of fume extraction so they aren’t crazy polluting the air. As long as the heat has somewhere safe to go and there isn’t anything else to catch on fire, burning things is easy.

Geez, that looks nice. And the green is really a pretty color.
I wish we got small cars again. I’m going to be really sad when I have to give up my MR2 spyder. Fortunately, with an average of 1 to 2 mile a day, I think it’ll hang on a while.
I am surprised my download is higher, but I often download things that arent popular so it takes ages to get upload.
