There is no DHCP, it’s all static addresses, but there is an ARP table maintained at the router, and modern routers protect against ARP poisoning, meaning the same IP cannot have two mac addresses, and they will churn out errors. It’s also a security nightmare because many low level packet tracing tools will not work or give out false positives. I still don’t know how it’s working for you, because by all accounts, it shouldn’t.

I have been using PikaOS for over a year. It has broken twice for me. Once the latest wine package stopping launching games (downgraded wine to fix), and one time monitor not detecting correct edid (had to resort to display port for a while), but both of them got resolved eventually.
My last job was all on the Google ecosystem. They bought like 10 of these things and to be honest, they were a blast during Meetings, but that was pre-covid. Pandemic really effed the office and pushed everyone remote, and I think they were lying around gathering dust when I left.
MangoWM (MangoWC formerly) … started using it when Hyprland didn’t have side scrolling like Niri, and Niri only as a scrolling manager and couldn’t do the master stack. Mango being the best of both worlds, I riced it really well and stuck with it.
