Honestly this is one of the biggest bummers for me. I love new tech that comes out, but every time I see something my first thought isn’t “oh boy I wonder how I can use this” it’s “ah great I wonder how that’s gonna gather data on me”
It sucks, the “user data” market has taken all the whimsy out of tech for me.
What sucks is you know the US is going to put it in their cars “to simplify production” and we dont have GDPR to protect us, so you know that data is going somewhere.
Obviously this is bad, but there is definitely some irony in the fact that if the government and all the evil lobbyists that are pushing these data centers would have significantly less issues if they’d actually invested in clean energy earlier like we were all already asking them to years ago.
But instead all that BS about “clean coal” is coming back to bite them in the foot now that they actually want to use that “clean” energy
Everyone thinks invaders are saviors at first. Colonizers were welcomed with open arms on their first arrival.
So these Flock cameras ARE being used to falsely arrest people based on incorrect “evidence” and NOT being used to verify people were at a different location to prevent them from being arrested UNTIL the court forces them to.
Sounds to me like the problem is still the police NOT doing their jobs, and these cameras ARE just an excuse for surveillance. Just like we expected.
I don’t know how, but I bet there’s an enterprising way to make a nice cheap battery powered Bluetooth scrambler that can be stuck right on one of those poles with a magnet and just absolutely ruin their signals.
Thinning on top with the “monk ring” style cut. Nothing gets the ladies going more.
But serious advice for guys, know when to just shave your head man. People like full heads of hair, people like bald, nobody likes thinning. Make the call and save yourself the embarrassment. Bald is beautiful.

But we can still make use of the system we have out there. It’s still the furthest out, so it’s still worth using for as long as we can
