Try custom molded earplugs if you like wearing them frequently. I have to wear them at work, and was tired of them getting dirty and throwing them out. I’ve been wearing the same pair of custom molded plugs for years now. Just wash them with hand soap whenever they get dirty, and they’re good as new. They are also much more comfortable than the ones that rely on expansion to stay in place.

The more I know about people, the less I want to interact with them.

When I scratch him while he lies at my feet, I say “Let’s stretch him out and see how long he is.”

Then, when he stretches, “Yep, we’ve got a long boy. He’s a keeper for sure.”

Write to the author, many are happy to share their work. The fees paid to the publisher generally don’t go to the author anyway.
