Big Brother Google is always listening, and probably would sell anything they’ve recorded to make a buck.
Maybe a lot of people in 2-party consent required jurisdictions should write in to google to state that they explicitly decline to consent to being recorded by google’s bullshit
For entertainment ticket price perspective, I paid less than $50 to see half of Led Zeppelin in concert (Jimmy Page & Robert Plant show) and it was fuckin’ awesome. But I’m not a sports fan so I wouldn’t pay even $50 to see a FIFA match.
This should be the response in every incidence of false arrest (a lawsuit), especially when involving these dystopian Big Brother surveillance systems.
Varies a lot by area. For example the city of Portland has about 55% of residents in single detached houses (not apartments).
60 FPS is good for a flat screen, but 100+ FPS is better and I enjoy the vibrant fluidity of the games at those high framerates. I think I spent less than 2k on my PC but it has been a journey of upgrades over years so I’m not sure
60 FPS is NOT good for VR though. 90 FPS is the bare minimum for smooth 3D immersion with any modern VR system.
The whole situation sucks, but realistically DDR4 is still fine. I’m using it on the 2 best PCs in my house. The other computers use older shit. I can run modern games at 100+ FPS on a big screen and even in VR.

Exactly, we don’t need it for anything. I have zero tasks that I need automation for on my phone. In fact, I have typically zero tasks that I need to do on my phone at all.
You know what tasks I actually NEED to do? I need to mow my back yard, and I need to install gutters on my house. AI is not going to help any of that, so it’s useless for my needs. Meanwhile, it is wasting a fortune in energy and an environmental crisis worth of water.
Too many people are brain hostages to the idea that apps do everything and you need an app for everything, even though most of the things are just websites. But all the apps are really doing is spying while they deliver their version of the website.
But I don’t need it, and most people also don’t need it. I’ve never spent any money on AI and I still don’t talk to any inanimate objects.

Camera-goggles should really only be allowed in public for use by the handicapped, and not allowed for use by anyone without a damn good reason. But I could see it being helpful for blind or very visually-impaired folks with the right applications

I’m gonna need some references to back up those energy claims. I do not see McDonalds (or any other restaurant) operating methane gas turbine generators because the energy grid can’t keep up with their power demands.
This was already sort of a problem I think because I booted up my PS3 earlier this year and my Playstation account credentials didn’t work because of some new account verification bullshit, and I couldn’t play my PS Store digital games, only discs.
Here’s the larger problem: other people will have this bullshit turned on and the microphones will receive the speech audio of everyone in their vicinity. It’s fully breaking consent to be recorded for others.
I do not care what they might say about “listening only to the owner” or whatever they will claim. If it’s recording with a microphone, then it will receive sound.
