Listen to his music, too! It’s amazing! I’ve seen him a few times and one time the equipment at the festival didn’t work so he just improvised his whole set. He was insanely good at it. So much vocoder, it was delightful!

I agree that 2k+ is far too much money for what it is, but if you think it won’t be completely sold out instantly in Canada…
90s Civic or Miata has been my dream forever, I’m with ya.
Two pieces of modern tech, though: security and sound.
90s Civics were notoriously easy to steal, so I’d definitely want something to prevent that.
When I was younger, I’d always dreamed of having a nice sound system in my car, but could never afford to do it. Now that I have a car with a super nice sound system and a sub, I can never go back. No “infotainment” BS tho, just gimme a standard deck. USB support is nice, but an aux jack is all I really need.

It’s a travesty that Tamers’ “Sonic The Hedgehog Gets Stuck in a Hole Because He’s Fat” was removed from YouTube.

Oh, see, I thought we were just making up dumb bullshit.

That wasn’t even your point, you were talking about another service.

I was just trying to answer your question but you’re just inventing things to make some stupid point. You’re bad at this.

I literally said I bought the game on Steam despite it being available for free elsewhere
use your eyes and brain to read words
Smells is like an opposite trigger for me! With some very strong exceptions, I’m extremely smell… oriented? Anything from “Amazing” to just “interesting”. Some smells trigger a flight response though, and my brain says I gotta get away ASAP. Fertilizer/doodoo/stomach acid/most rot/ammonia/the kitchen drain trap goo after they haven’t been cleaned for a long time/mold make me panic a little and I gotta get away from it.
Ugh preach. I also hate it when I can see the lightbulb. Put that thing away! This is a REFRACTED LIGHT household.
I’ve recently switched from small lamp to refracted purple light while I’m working and it made life infinitely more comfy.

My oldest SDD is still at like 85% health and it’s almost 15 years old O:
Shoot, my VR machine is about 13 years old with original CPU, RAM, and HDD! It has my old SSD now and a newer video card (2070) so it can play rhythm games at 90-120FPS.
My oldest working (working for tasks I’d actually use a computer for, not retro fun) computer is 15 years old! MacBook Pro. I need to get Linux installed on it. That’s a project for… eventually.

In a lot of cases, yes! I’ve run into quite a few. Some I’ve even been able to run through the browser, but I threw a couple bucks for the Stream version because it was the easiest way to give them some money where I live, and the other versions they put out for free. I think they just put it on steam for a couple bucks for more reach, and made it a couple bucks instead of free to cover the cost of listing? Or just to have a way to buy it easily. I dunno, but yep you can

Mhm thanks I have all those, they’re great and all, but this one is different
(It sounds like I’m being sarcastic but I do actually have two of all modern first party controllers including two original steam controllers and I am psyched for the eventual arrival of my updated steam controller yay)

Yep! You absolutely can.

OP gives a brief description in their post, and I don’t see that they’ve edited it! I was unfamiliar as well, but now it’s on my must-play list!

Oooo thank you for bringing this to my attention! I LOVE that they made a Huge Box for it!
My partner got me a GPU a while back (oh my god I looked it up and it was ten years ago aaaaaaaaa) that was an incredible deal for its power, but had a TON of reports of coil whine. I was delighted to hear nothing from it the first few days of playing! Then it promptly died. To death. To shreds, even. ah well, it happens, better now than out of return period. I sent it back for a replacement and got another one, TERRIFIED its replacement would be an auditory nightmare after being lucky the first time.
I got lucky the second time, and it still works to this day!
I feel you on that one. Cotton balls don’t bother me, but I know that’s a nightmare for my mum. That and just the idea of
chewing tin foil
(I’m sorry to put that in anyone’s head if that bothers them oh god lemme spoiler that just in case) bothers her a ton but doesn’t really hit for me.
Electronic sounds can be a nightmare. I love CRTs but I can’t be around many of them because they hit my brain in The Bad Spot. One tiny benefit to my tinnitus is I’ve found a few CRTs that seem to have a similar/the same frequency so I can be around them when they’re on!

Thank you for your thoughtful perspective! I didn’t mean to be so harsh on the game—it just really didn’t hit for me. I think honestly the “adult versions of characters imagining themselves but younger” wasn’t something I even thought of; I took the dialogue as if it was just coming straight from the writers. That’s an interesting way to frame it, and I should take another look with that in mind.
I’m also about the right age bracket, maybe a tad older? My childhood and teen years generally ranged from boring to “pretty alright” with a little bad sprinkled in though; very little gives me nostalgia for that time of my life. I suppose that’s a good thing? Kinda? I dunno. But thank you again! :3 I have not played any DA games but I do have some, and I’ve heard they’re great. The beginning of DA2 you describe sounds great, hahaha

I don’t even mind what happens in Bloom and Rage, both my partner and I were in psychic pain listening to the horrible, unnatural dialogue from all of the extremely unlikable characters the whole time.
Haven’t heard of Vampyr or Banishers—I’ll look into those!
Meanwhile I don’t like the software that saves a rolling three minutes of gameplay so I can instantly save anything cool that happens because I don’t want my SSDs constantly being written, so I just have it load the temp file into drive emulated by RAM instead. Don’t touch my SSDs!
