I’m off to help out at the local track and field meet.

Just finished three days in the bush chopping firewood for next year. Today, I’m heading to my parents for the Mother’s Day weekend.

It’s a sunny day with a forecast high of 3 degrees. The cool spell is actually a good thing because the snow melt was causing flooding in some areas. This should slow it down a bit.

The sun is out. The snow is melting. Spring is in the air. (even though the high temperature will only be 0 today.)

I don’t think that’ll happen in Japan.
