There’s no way those numbers are true as an American who’s in the industry. Like maybe super high end for USA and super low for France as outliers but you basically have to be a genius wizard to be making 200k a year as a software engineer anywhere in the USA. Even then it’ll only be in a super high cost of living place, no software dev in the Midwest is pulling 200k.

I live in a place that was built up through the late 80s through mid 90s so the houses have a lot of variety. Feels like once the 00s hit and especially the 2010s single family home neighborhoods all became the same house copy + pasted.

I personally think we’ll eventually see swappable batteries but who knows. I also think that won’t happen for like 25 years from now or more but I think that’s a solution to the limitations of charging tech.
Who knows, for most people most of the time EV is a better choice. I know the way I normally use my car an EV would work fine as a replacement.

Damn, I have the exact opposite opinion on the show.
I think it’s clever and has some fun moments of subversion in the writing and the plots may be meandering but they all make sense inside the reality of the world the characters are in.
Then again I never interact with the fandom and I just watch it because I like the show and find it fun. Mid 30s dude here so take it for what it’s worth. Of course, with all the drugs, I might just have the mental maturity of a 13 year old by now so maybe that’s why I like it.
