  • That is several questions.

Near the top of the AntiMicroX window are buttons to save and load profiles. Once you set up controller input to keyboard input, save that profile in a folder somewhere you can find it later. It should automatically load the last profile you used for a given controller.

The GameCube controller doesn’t work for any games i’ve tried it in. Again, probably a drivers issue. But maybe it would work if i tried it in something like Dolphin emulator.

I used to use DS4 for everything when that was my only controller. When i got Hollow Knight it was buggy, only accepting some inputs, so i got the Logitech and now i use that for all my Linux games that i don’t play with a keyboard. Right now that’s mostly Hollow Knight, Final Fantasy VII, and SSF2. The GameCube controller is mostly used for Smash Ultimate, and occasionally other Switch games that support it or don’t put anything super important on buttons it doesn’t have like L3.

  • I’ve never played Asuna, but the research thing sounds like it’s copied from Terraria’s journey mode. Research enough of an item and you can duplicate it endlessly, as an alternative to a more traditional creative mode.

Sounds like there’s more Terraria influence too, like slimes holding items and the lack of swimming. I wonder if you’re supposed to find boots of water walking or flippers for swimming, so you can cross water easier.

I don’t have a problem with that. Terraria has a lot of great ideas, that’s why so many Minecraft mods (and apparently also this) also use them.
