28·26 days agoYeah it’s still very active, the domain has been the same for 20 years. Most countries have it blocked at the DNS level, so switching them is enough to regain access

kotlin is a great programming language. The ui (compose) can also be used in kotlin multi platform to make desktop apps. You’ll have to learn about lifecycles etc but it’ll be worth it in my opinion

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•[Half-Life is Strange, an in development Half-Life mod that] lets you play as 'queen of spacetime' Max Caulfield, and it's convinced me that the next Life is Strange should be a full-on boomer shooter

9·2 months ago? there’s no reason for any game to need more than 32 gb, that’s just shitty coding. Rocket league in particular, considering it needs to render what, six cars and a ball?

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Steam Controller review leaks, but price of Steam Machine accessory may disappoint
1·2 months agoyeah after getting the steam deck the steam controller is amazing! It could be better since the steam deck pad feels better, maybe this controller will be perfect. But no way I’m spending 100$ on a controller, the original steam deck 64 GB was like 300 something
docker desktop is just a GUI for managing docker, is there a specific reason you need it? Anyway you can try Portainer

Games@lemmy.world•Vampire Survivors’ developer is working on over 15 games, including IP collaborations
11·2 months agoif you look at the previous DLCs we can probably guess what they are, it’s vampire survivor + more famous IP. many jokes are also only for Italians (as in, they require national memes knowledge)

Overblown. You’d think they sold weapons to nazi, they sent a couple of laptops to open source developers which turned out to be assholes. People probably give more money to nazi when shopping and paying taxes

if anyone liked the first game, the comic it was taken from is Fables, and I personally think it’s a masterpiece. it’s also completed so you can read it fully
