And even when computers started to come around, data entry was still largely female dominated. It wasn’t until late ron that it became a male dominated space. Largely due to the takeover of video games, which were in America heavily marketed towards only boys and not often marketed towards girls.
I feel like OP is trying to use science to justify the current militarized borders and state appointed violence against the people who cross them. It’s a terrible comparison because natural territory boundaries are nothing like that. No creature in the animal kingdom has crap like I.C.E. and Border Patrol.
It’s not really that weird, root beer used to be made using sassafras bark and yeah that’s toxic in large amounts too.
Also fun fact, you can eat the inner bark of most pine trees, particularly white pines. It doesn’t taste great but it could easily be a source of food in an emergency.
I hope not, it’s pretty pathetic to try and compare animals or packs of animals having territories, with militarized borders and state appointed violence. I don’t think that’s what the OP is doing, but many other people in these comment absolutely are serious.
I saw dandelions like that a few times before. I never knew what it was called or what caused it. I think I only ever saw it 3 times.
That would raise the sea level almost as fast, and probably more than if the polar ice caps just melted on their own. Also didn’t it come from a comet? Last I checked comet ice isn’t the cleanest ice, it’s full of fun stuff like ammonia, cyanide, and formaldehyde.
Yeah before people in America made a big stink about it and said it’lll turn you crazy or into a mexican, or whatever racist unscientific garbage excuse they made to start a moral panic to make it illegal, people smoked or otherwise consumed cannabis. It was just normal. The same way people consume drugs like coffee today, yes coffee is a drug.
I agree, the phrasing was poor since many arthropods easily beat this guy in terms of small size.
Or it’s likely a mini-Neptune type planet with more atmosphere than ground and therefore likely won’t have complex life at all. Or complex life able to try and do that.
You would need to get into orbit first to start the process of making it. It could make it easier to get into orbit once you have it but it doesn’t eliminate the burden of needing to get into orbit at least once before it’s set up. Likely more than once since failed attempts will require you to start over.
This is the most important part, especially when teaching math to children. The practical aspects of math (beyond arithmetic counting with basic addition and subtraction) are not going to be fully realized until one is an adult, so they aren’t going to be a motivator for learning math.
It needs to be fun and engaging for them to want to keep learning and engaging with it.
They’re cuter than the bee fly.
