This is what drew me to Minecraft. Common goals or just solo’ing. And other people take great pride in showing their builds. So chill.
Like Wallace and Gromit but instead of cheese it’s biscuits.

5·1 month agoI had this on the Mega drive but the artwork was different in the UK. Either that or I’ve lost my memory.

3·1 month agoFade to Black was awesome for its time.
As was Another World. I watched a YouTube video about it. It explained what the Amiga was good at and the limitations, and how that game worked so well. Real time poly animations. It works so well.
I have one. Good shit.
Or buy cloned devices from China which all have the same MAC

World News@lemmy.world•Brexit explained in a single tootEnglish
13·3 months agoI worked with a horrid person who voted Brexit for a few dumb reasons but the most worrying one was because he was racist. Openly said he didn’t want the “blackies” here. If I still worked with him I would be laughing in his face right now. Because of the shortage in certain areas like carers and health, we now have more Africans families in our town than ever before. Totally the opposite of what he wanted.
The interactions with these people whom he hates, is far more positive than my experiences with him. People like him can fuck right off.
It didn’t taste as bad as it smelled, but I really wasn’t a fan of it’s fatty texture. I’ll pass next time.
Partly. He’s said in the past that excessive consumerism is a big part of the environmental issues. He’s also commented on capitalism in the same light.
Shutting down production would probably be a better “we did this for you”

Dogs@lemmy.world•Watching my dog in the backyard on my windows TVEnglish
3·3 months agoI know somebody who has a house which backs onto a field of cows. At night the cows come over and crowd by the fence to watch what’s going on in the house. From the cows pov they’re getting a lot up TV experience.
You worded that very well. I don’t like people calling out generations like this but struggle on making a well formed reply.
Also it’s odd that they lack the understanding that one day their generation will be the old one and they will be subject to blame. Unless people just stop doing it!

That’s awful, I feel for you. Where I live the police don’t care about stolens bikes. Similarly, my old 1989 Ford car got stolen and they didn’t seem to care about that either, until it was abandoned out the front of some house blocking their driveway. Then I had to pay the impound to get it back.
