It’s not just about taking on advice. It’s having different views points and trying to understand how others who also have autism see it. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what is said on here, I have to decide what works best for my situation but having more information and how people see it, allows me to understand it better.

Yeah I’ve tried and she has got a bit of support with it but because it doesn’t ‘fix all the problems’ she doesn’t fully commit. I’m trying to explain that it won’t just fix things and soon she’s going to have help from our local council mental health team so hopefully something more intensive will help her



Yeah there is which I’m greatful for. I think that’s a very good idea. When we got together we talked about that kind of thing and I thought we were on the same page. But I think she had all intentions to, but feel back on habits of old that I didn’t realise were there until later in our relationship.
Yeah. From my POV it’s how we were made to socialise and be part of our community. The rise of the internet and life expenses have made this smaller and smaller but that’s a rant for another day haha
