I bought Control because 'i have a brand new 3070, and want to try raytracing, and the game is on sale for $30", and now its one of my top games of all time. Loving resonant, very different style of gameplay (hack and slash vs slower paced horror), but god its good.

But sure makes my 3070 feel old, having to really drop the graphics down to medium to even play it.

yea, i think the gameplay loops of Halflife Alyx is better, but the world/graphics are jawdropping on Lone Echo

Triple I (III) is supposed to be a counter to a Triple A game, a devoted indie development standard. Think Balatro, Undertale, Hollow Knight.

Banding together allows them to be a large force for good against things like ubisoft.

Really wish Meta would port Lone Echo, at least to the Quest 3, and ideally to steam. Its such a good game, but with it not being able to be played unteathered, in nearly forgotten.

yea, i revisited it recently (HL2), writing is excellent, pacing is excellent. It keeps introducing a new mechanic, and just as that starts to get old, drops it for the next chapter.

10/10 game.

I think the valve has the large touch pads and TMR joysticks, which both add some (if not THAT much) cost.

I played some of the midgame expansions, but found it hard to follow the plot, and so much if the grind turned me off
