In all seriousness, Rosie’s trainer and other volunteers have been keeping a close eye on Rosie’s weight to make sure she’s adapting well to her new home. Eating well is a great sign!

I didn’t want to spoil anyone’s breakfast or what not. If it’s in one piece, I think that’s a bit different, but some people just scrolling by may not want to see it. The owl’s face is just too cute, and that’s something everyone can enjoy. For those of us ready to accept all the aspects of raptors, we’ve still got the full image.
I appreciate you showing both, gore isn’t for me but I’m glad those who aren’t bothered by it get to see the original image as well.
Exactly. I have to do some pretty funky stuff in caring for animals, and some of it still makes me a bit squeamish. There’s plenty of things that are natural behavior that I don’t want to see! 😜
