    I don’t use Debian on work machines. It packages much of the software I use a year out of date!

    Rolling release is essential for me to use a system as my own. I acknowledge that Debian may be better for servers. Although, if you’re a reproducibility and servers person, why not use NixOS?

    As a side note, I do not use Arch. I use Artix because I prefer OpenRC over systemd.

        Yes. It misses features I depend on, forcing me to compile things. I’m not a Gentoo user. I only compile mesa because my hardware is obscure garbage and I need weird feature flags. I try to avoid other compilation, given that my main PC is almost two decades old. The other one is old enough to drink.
