O- isn’t even the rarest blood type, B- is only 1% but they can accept blood from more than one blood groups(-B-, O-). So you should think of banking your blood overtime in case of an emergency.
Also Also, O+ is 50% of the worlds population, and can be accepted by many blood groups(A+,B+,AB+,O+), so consider donating blood if you fall in that group(or really, if you aren’t, its costs you very little and your body relishs it in less than 2 weeks).
