

Maybe I should have worded it differently. I’d wager that Lemmy, as is, is very few Lemmy users’ ideal platform, mainly because it’s very small. For instance, while it is a filter bubble of sorts, the small user base makes it hard to filter content to your preference. It’s more or less a take it or leave it proposition.
May I’m projecting, but at least I’m here seeking refuge from algorithmic enshitification, not necessarily the mixture of Linux memes and random politics I’m getting.
Not saying I hate it – many things I’m very fond of – just that it’s not all that I want in a platform (as is).


At an average return of 7 percent – extremely conservative in this day and age and in the context of the mega rich – having 1 000 billion dollars will make you 70 billion dollars in a year without lifting a finger.
