I think the biggest issue I have with this is the framing. For 99% of workers, your company is exploiting you by making waaaaay more money from your work than they pay you in wages. Employees aren’t “lucky enough” to work from home. Capitalists are lucky we work for them. Additional erosion of privacy is not ok. This is a thinly veiled effort from companies to control workers more so they can be exploited harder. That’s it.

I also came to recommend this, I have played a lot of the game. Same exploration and basic leveling mechanics, similar balance of silly humor and serious story, really fun underrated game

While I do generally agree, there are a LOT of companies that have their own special kind of evil, and ultimately if people are choosing between being employed and working for one, they will work for one. There simply aren’t enough ethical jobs for the number of people who would prefer to work for ethical companies

I would be totally fine with that. I suppose you are right and that’s a fair call out. I think I just don’t personally know anyone who would volunteer to receive AI content on their algorithms if they had a choice.

Avoiding ai content isn’t exactly a choice I can make currently. On virtually every streaming app, if I use any kind of recommendation or auto play function, ai comes up. Because AI music creators tend to release literally thousands of songs vs human creators who release a handful, even if the algorithms are randomized between available options, it skews heavily towards ai content.

So, yes, I want the owners of those platforms to remove the AI content altogether rather than just put a small icon in the corner of the song name or whatever.

Letting users choose for themselves isn’t exactly what is happening. Forced feeding of garbage would be more accurate.

I only care about this if they also have the functionality to block them from being recommended in any algorithms, or better yet prevent anyone from listening to it at all

I heard cachy was better than average arch in complexity. I am very new to Linux with minimal computer skills and have been very happy with bazzite but most of my friends I try to convert are cachy loyalists
